ZERO TOLERANCE TO POOR BEHAVIOR
Over the last couple of weeks we have had numerous incidents within the Avoca Football club directly relating to poor and inappropriate behavior towards coaches cadet referees and other players. This is unacceptable! The Avoca FC committee approach to this kind of behavior is Zero Tolerance.

As a club our priority is to ensure the kids have a great season and are playing under the rules dictated to us via football NSW. Given this, as coaches / managers and parents you have a responsibility at all times to remember that all of the adults & children involved in different roles within our club are VOLUNTEERS.

CODES OF BEHAVIOR
There are Codes of Behavior relating to Coaches / Parents and Players which are available on the Avoca FC website. Please ensure that you are familiar with these.

CADET REFEREES
The Cadet referees are children and are learning the role! They are all well versed in the rules of Mini Roos football. If you have an issue with the cadet referee, the proper procedure is to tell the “adult” committee member who is manning the sign in desk (next to the canteen). Please do not approach the Cadet Ref!

MODIFIED RULES FOR Under 5- under 11s
We would also like to remind all parents and Coaches that the Rules for Mini Roos are considerably different to Full pitch games as this is a modified version to teach and develop children in their early years of playing. If you are unsure of these rules they can be viewed in the attachment below.

NO DOGS AT ERINA HIGH
One last thing it is council policy that there are NO dogs allowed on the grounds at Erina High. If the club is fined due to dogs being at Erina then this will be passed on. Please leave the pooch at home.
