Avoca FC Welcomes you to season 2015

Hello Sharkies,

Welcome to season 2015,

This year marks the club’s 20th anniversary, and as we prepare to commence our 21st season, we are trying to put together a registry of all players, coaches, managers and committee members who have played for Avoca FC. Please take a minute to complete this form, even if you are not intending to play/coach this year. Please also share with any family and friends who have played or coached for Avoca in the past.

Registrations will be open from January 2nd. Can you try and get yourself registered and paid up, to play football for the Sharks for season 2015. If you prefer to pay in person, register online and come to the rego days, where we can finish your rego. Unpaid players will not be able to take to the pitch. If you need a payment plan, contact Phil Clements on epclements@optusnet.com.au so a plan can be worked out. There are no other options!

As a Club, the committee do as much as possible to keep playing football fair for everyone, however we have to pass on cost increases, which means rego prices have increased by $5 from last year. Some of you may have noticed, the kids kits have been through a few seasons, So, If you are in a position (or the company you work for is!) to sponsor a team(s) please contact Stef Marcangelo on 0404795676 to talk about it.

Registrations can be completed at myfootballclub.com.au (if you pay online you don’t need to go to rego days and you will be registered to play).

Below you will find a Step by Step guide on how to complete a registration online. The steps are easy to follow, and your information has been pre-populated into the system, so that it can take about 2 minutes to complete.

The club will still be holding registration/information days at
Kincumber Indoor Sports centre, Cochrane St, Kincumber
On the 31st January and 7th February
From 9am till 12pm both days.

Please ensure that you have followed the steps attached and have completed a self-registration before this date if you want to pay in person. As part of the registration, you will have an invoice emailed to you. Please print this out and bring to the registration day as proof of registration.

Please ensure all email addresses are correct as you go through rego process.

You will also be able to make registration enquiries and purchase gear on the above dates.

If you have any Avoca FC playing shirts from 2014 PLEASE bring them to rego days.

AVOCA FC Self Registration Guide

Please follow the following instructions to register online for our club:

ALL PLAYERS (U10 AND UP),COACHES AND MANAGERS MUST UPLOAD A NEW PHOTO FOR SEASON 2015. HAVE A PASSPORT STYLE PHOTO SAVED AND READY TO UPLOAD BEFORE YOU START THE REGO PROCESS.

1. Login:
a) Go to the MyFootballClub website: www.myfootballclub.com.au
b) Click on “Register Now”
c) Select “Player Registration”
d) Follow the prompts to proceed to login pages, find your FFA number and/or reset your password
e) Login using your FFA number and password:
  • FFA Number:
  • Password:
2. Start Registration
a) Once logged in, select “Make a Registration” or “Register Now”
b) Update contact details if necessary. CHECK YOUR EMAIL ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT
c) On the next screen, enter the club name (Avoca FC)
NB: If you get a message saying there are no packages then click OK and check the club name
d) Select the Registration role as: “Player”
NB: If this is the first time you have registered to play football in Australia you will need to confirm whether you played in another country
e) Select the correct Registration Package that applies for your registration.
EG If player turns 8 this year then they are under 8
f) Click the “Add” button.
g) Click the Next button at the bottom of the screen.
h) Read and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions then click Next.
i) Click on “Pay Now” to pay online with a credit card (VISA or MasterCard), or select “manual Payment at Club” if you want to pay at our club information day.
NB: Payment must be made before a registration can be accepted.
j) Answer the questions on the final page and click the “Save All Answers” button.

Your registration has now been submitted. Make sure you have paid your fees and completed any necessary ID checks, etc.

If you have any trouble with your registration you can use the following resources to help you.

  • View the Player Registration guides and videos which are on the Resources page of the MyFootballClub website.
  • Call FFA Support Centre (02) 8020 4199 if you are having problems with your password to login.
